Computer Crashes Immediately on Launch, Uplay Downloads Incorrectly

Try opening the games install folder and renaming installscript.vdf to something else, that should stop the game from running the install script.

You can get UP lay direct from ubisoft.com, install it, get the games key from steam, activate it in UPlay and play from there.

aclhd.exe stopped working

It seems like a lot of people having this issue are running 64 bit operating systems. Try running the game in compatibility mode.

V-sync locks game at 30 fps

When you’re in the game, press “L” + “WIN” (the button between alt and ctrl), it will block the windows, just unlocks them after clicking on your account, and then expand the game from the panel, the FPS limit is removed. In simple terms, this method forces the triple buffering. You can turn it on third-party program, but this method is easier.

Vsync and AA off, then I pulled shadows down to medium. Medium and high shadows are pretty much similar in this game.
If you have performance problems but wanna play with Antialiasing, just deactivate SSAO in the assassin4.ini (C:Users[User]DocumentsAssassin’s Creed Liberation HD -> SSAO=1 -> 0)
